Description

"Porygon made its first and only major anime appearance in Electric Soldier Porygon. This episode caused almost 700 children in Japan to have seizures due to a flashing strobe effect, and was therefore banned and never aired again anywhere in the world. Since then, Porygon and its evolutions have never played a main role in another episode, despite the fact that it was actually Pikachu who caused the seizures." - Bulbapedia

After just watching that Banned Episode that never made it to North America, I decide to make this.

no in away it wasn't pikachu that cause the flashing, it was that stupid vaccine Medical needle/jet thingy that keep throwing this seizure flash missiles at Ash and the others,
Pikachu just helped made it worst.

Because of "Electric Soldier Porygon", Porygon never gotten major rolls again, Porygon-2 and Porygon-Z Never appeared in any episodes.

if you would like to see that episode, you can find it easly when entering "Electric Soldier Porygon" into google.

BUT DO NOT WATCH IT IF YOU ARE KNOWN FOR HAVING SEIZURES!! if you are not known for having seizures, then warning that episode hurts the Eyes.

It's been so long since that episode. I feel like they've been respectful enough and learned not to strobe since then (as well as being able to take inspiration from things like The Matrix to make digital landscapes that don't require so many flashing colors). Granted, Porgyon, Porygon 2 and Porygon Z aren't very relevant in the games right now, but that doesn't stop the odd episode being about recovering a Pokeball containing a Sandshrew well into Gen 4, so I don't see any good reasons to keep the Gons out of the show.

Would have been primetime to bring a Porygon back when they had Rotomdex on the show (some episode where Rotomdex gets a virus/bug and they program a Porygon to fix it from within), but it's not like computers have gotten less relevant since the Sun/Moon anime, so the opportunity is still there.
